HADASSA TAE
My name is Hadassa Tae. I was born and raised in the port city of Haifa, on the Carmel mountain.
I live with my family in a small village near Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Israel.
The choice of practicing painting and art was established in my early 20's, after a few years of academic studies in the fields of architecture and philosophy.
Over the years, I had the privilege to learn from great artists including Leo Ray, Yaakov Hefetz
and Sasha Okun.
I have a special gratitude to Calman Shemi for opening his studio for me over the last years.
It has been an insightful journey of conversation and feedback.

For me, art is the way to express pure aesthetics, thoughts and feelings that do not consolidate into words.
My main inspiration is modern art, Japanese and minimalist styles.
The diverse places I have been to during different periods of my life merged with imagination, technique and motion into the paintings presented in this site. I hope you will like them as I enjoyed creating them. You are invited to contact me and visit my studio.
